GREENFIELD LANE

Sumner County, Tennessee

This was a complete rebuild of an 1892 traditional Tennessee farm wall, commissioned by Curt and Lynn Kennedy Bullard at the childhood home of the Bullard family. All the original stone was used, mainly Limestone fieldstone with shale mixed in. The original wall was 800 feet long from which I managed to build 300 feet of new wall, with the final 100 feet being built using the stone from the neighboring farm. It features the double sloping coupe stones typical of the Middle Tennessee walls built in the 19th century.

— PROJECT TESTIMONIAL —

“We cannot express how much we value your craftsmanship, authenticity, vision and perseverance in restoring our 1892 stone wall. We are certain it is the most beautiful and skillfully constructed wall in Sumner County evidenced by all the attention it gets!”

- Curt and Lynn Kennedy-Bullard
